How To Make Doughnut.

Ingredients for Doughnuts:

  • 250g (8.8oz) flour.
  • 2 teaspoons yeast.
  • 75mls warm whole milk.
  • 100g (3.5 oz) butter.
  • 1 egg.
  • 25g (1 oz) sugar.
  • ¼ teaspoon salt.
  • Vegetable Oil (for frying).

Method

  • In a small bowl, Add the yeast, 3 tablespoon of flour, 5 tablespoon of warm water and mix together.
  • Set aside to from small bubbles in it.
  • Into another large bowl, Add the remaining flour , sugar and salt and mix together.
  • Add the egg,warm milk, butter and the yeast batter, mix well for about 10 min.
  • Fold the sticky dough into ball and place in bowl.
  • Cover with clean napkin or nylon.
  • Leave till dough double in size.

  • When dough has double in size, place on a floured table and rub flour to flatten little by little till it Stop sticky.


  • With a cutter, cut the flatten dough into doughnut shapes (Round).


  • Leave to rise. 


  • Heat oil until very hot.


  • Fry doughnuts i oil till golden brown. 


  • Transfer into sieve to extract excess oil.


Enjoy With A Chilled Drink....
