Pop Corn |
Ingredients:
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 9 Tbsp Vegetable oil,
- Sugar
- Butter
- Two large bowls
- oven mitts
Method:
- On a medium heat.
- Let the oil sit on the stove until it's hot enough to cook your popcorn.
Note: Make sure you watch the oil the whole time. You do not want to leave a pot on the stove unattended.
- Add the corn and cover tightly wait for it to pop
- Listen to the pot. You should hear a lot of popping noises. Once these noises slow to a few seconds between pops, your popcorn is ready.
- Carefully remove the lid. Make sure to use your oven mitts, as the lid will be hot.
- Stand back a little in case any popcorn flies out of the pan. It will be hot and can hurt your skin.
- Melt butter in a pan
- Add to it evenly
- Sprinkle sugar all over it to give a prefect taste.
