How To Prepare Fried Rice

Nigerian Fried Rice

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make quick, easy, and delicious fried rice at a moment's notice.

Ingredient:

  • 4 milk cups of rice
  • Green Pepper
  • Cabbage (1 medium sized ball
  • Carrot (2 to 3 (medium size)
  • Onions (2 to 3 bulbs
  • Green beans (1.5 to 2.5 milk cup){you can chose to measure with milk cup after chopping}
  • Peas(optional) (0.5 milk cup)
  • Liver(meat) 0.5 kg
  • Groundnut oil
  • Curry (use as desired)
  • Maggi(seasoning)
  • Fish or meat of your choice (turkey, chicken, beef)
  • salt and pepper to taste
Preparations

step 1

prepare your work space

wash all ingredient and set aside

Season meat(liver),turkey to taste and leave to boil

Cut onions,carrot,cabbage,green pepper into cubes

Separate the meat from the water and deep fry the meat in vegetable oil then cut into cubes

Divide stock water into two, use half to cook the rice to (70% done) and set aside the remaining (meat) water. 


Step 2

Put pot on fire

Add vegetable oil

Add onion to fry

Add carrot,green pepper,simultaneously

Add curry, fried rice season giving it a greenish color

Add green peas,spring onion and chopped liver

Add maggi and salt to taste

Add thyme and chopped pepper(optional) 

Add rice stir evenly and leaven to cook for about 5 min

serve hot
